What does the scent of summer mean to you? Is it the scent of the ocean, a tropical paradise, freshly cut grass, etc?

The scents of the past can bring back happy memories. We also associate certain smells with specific times of the year.

3. Fresh Flowers

Fresh flowers are great for a fresh, summery smell.

They brighten up any room and add a cheerful touch of color.

4. Simmer Pot

Another natural way to freshen up your home is with a stove-top simmer pot

Add the chopped fresh fruits and herbs to 2 quarts of water in a saucepan on your stove. Allow it to simmer for a day, and then you can enjoy the fresh summer aroma filling up your home.

These are some great summer simmer pot recipes:

  • Lemon and rosemary
  • Strawberries, lemons, and coconut
  • Lime, mint, and ginger are all great options.
  • Grapefruit, lemon, lime
  • Vanilla, lime, and rosemary

5. Shelf and drawer liners

A scented drawer and shelf liners are another great way to diffuse good fragrance throughout your home.

They transform the interiors of your drawers and cupboards into a beautiful space.

Sparkling Lime & Coconut really smells like summer!

6. DIY Mason-jar Air Fresheners

You can make all-natural, air fresheners from baking soda and essential oils in a jar.

  • Put about 1/2 cup baking soda and 10-12 drops of your preferred essential oil in a small container.
  • For a beautiful look, you could cover the top of your jar with a pretty piece of breathable fabric and secure it with ribbon or a band.
  • Another option is to make holes in the lids of mason jars so the air freshener can breathe. You can fill your home with the sweet scent of summer by using any of the seasonal essential oil blends.
  • To activate the jar, shake it regularly. You can add another 4-5 drops of essential oil if the aroma starts to fade.

7. Scented Sachets

Use scented sachets to keep your small spaces, such as drawers and closets, smelling fresh.

Place them anywhere you like and let the aroma fill your home.

8. Create a kitchen herb garden

10. The windows can be opened

Open the windows to create a summer-like atmosphere in your home.

Even better if your neighbor has just mowed his lawn!

The windows can be opened to let in the fresh air that has built up over winter.

You might even hear the kids playing by the ice cream truck. Enjoy both the smells and sounds of summer.

11. Summer Candles

No matter what summer scent you like, there is a candle that will work for it.

Everything, from Summer Storm to Coconut Beach and Lemon Lavender.

This year, try different summer candles. Let me know which ones you like best!

13. Cleanse with a lemon

What? What? It’s true! You may prefer natural scents in your home, so use a lemon-scented cleaner instead.

Simply cut the lemon in half, or in quarters, and then use the sponge or the juice to make a spray bottle with water.

You can clean and wipe some things with lemon juice or lemon oil. These include; microwaves, toilet bowls, faucets, and glass.

Conclusion:-

Are you ready to make your home smell like the ocean?
