It’s a great time to be a mother! Sometimes new moms find themselves in a dilemma when trying to shed a few extra pounds.

It can be difficult to fit back into old, flattering clothes, especially when celebrities are bouncing back so quickly all the time.

First, you need to dispel some myths regarding the postpartum body. It can sometimes feel like everyone knows a lot about postpartum bodies and you are tired of packing on advice that never works for you. You can lose the baby weight.

Your body type will also play a role in how your bounce-back body looks. You may lose weight by breastfeeding.

The more calories you lose through breastfeeding, the more hungry you will be. This hunger will play a big role in your weight loss journey.

1. Exercise

After delivery, your body cycles change and you need to keep up with a baby who needs you at irregular hours.

I’m not talking about running on the treadmill straight out of the delivery room. Moving around the house, climbing stairs, standing for a bit, doing chores, dancing to your favorite songs, are all examples of small exercises.

Once you have been cleared by your doctor to do so, you can start doing more.

Those good results take time, so take each step one at a time. Before you start any exercise program, get professional advice.

2. Diet

” Eat! Eat! You must eat! This is a common saying from older mothers. Yes, you must eat to breastfeed.

But eating smart is one way to lose weight postpartum weight. Your baby needs nutrients, not just food.

Try to eat whole foods and less junk food and unhealthy fats. You might try smaller portions if you feel hungry frequently.

3. Yoga

You can now try yoga if you’re not already a yogi. Be careful when choosing your poses.

There are many yoga poses that moms can do, so make sure to consult your doctor on what is best for you.

4. Tea

Many mothers have a strong standing for weight loss teas. This includes nursing moms.

Some of these teas have even proven their effectiveness. Ask your nutritionists for advice and help you find the best one.

5. It’s worth talking about

This is not a common problem for all moms, and you are not the first. You might find some helpful tips from moms who have bounced back after having children.

Talking to other moms who are facing similar problems to you might help you find out what has worked and what hasn’t.

Sometimes a problem shared can be a problem half solved.

Remember to distinguish the truth from fiction and discuss the safety of these methods with your doctor.
