They can try to be your blueprint for a better future. It’s easy for people to forget how much power they actually have. You have the power to improve your life.

These 7 things will almost guarantee that you live a better life.

1. You should designate a place to keep things you use frequently

You may find yourself losing the same items over and over again. It’s time for a new spot.

You don’t have to worry about where things are when they have their own space.

These routines will help you keep your life organized. It doesn’t take up too much brain space to remember things like keys or phone chargers.

My keys are kept in a little bowl that I have placed by my front door. My keys are always in the bowl when I’m at home.

My phone charger is always near my bed. My phone charges all night long while I sleep. It never runs low on battery and I don’t ever have to move or misplace the charging cable.

It’s worth a shot. It’s possible to be amazed at how much time you can save by not having to search for things.

2. The night before, write down a brief to-do list

Write down the top 3 things you must accomplish before you go to sleep.

There are not 100 things. Only 3-5. You can rank them according to importance if you want to be organized. This way, even if you can only manage to do 2 of them, you won’t worry much since they are the most important.

Get rid of all the nagging thoughts and worries as you go to bed. It will help you sleep better. 

It would be great to get up every morning feeling organized and knowing exactly what you need to do that day.

3. Keep track of your spending

Keeping track of your finances is an essential part of a well-ordered life.

It is essential that you know where your money is going. You will lose all of your money every day if you don’t follow up on where it’s going. 

It doesn’t have to be complicated if you want to create a budget.

You can download several note apps or create a simple spreadsheet. You can even use a regular notebook to do the same thing.

Log it in or note it down every time you spend money, whether it is cash, debit, credit, or both.

This simple act will help you be more conscious of your money.

Your financial future will be determined by how you spend your money.

4. To keep things organized, create a routine

When your home is disorganized and chaotic, it can be very difficult to feel happy and sound-minded.

Perhaps you feel that it is impossible to keep it clean.

Simple routines can make the difference between order and chaos.

All-day, you can simply make many small choices. To put the dirty dishes on the counter, or to wash them in the sink. Or to place them in the dishwasher.

People who have neat homes place them in the dishwasher. It also takes no longer than putting them in a sink. 

To avoid long tidying sessions, simply put away the things you use immediately.

5. Be honest about your life and your goals

It’s time for you to examine why your life isn’t turning out the way you hoped.

What’s different from what you thought? You can think of some simple ways to change things that you don’t like.

Imagine your dream future. What would you like to see in 3 years?  Dream about real things that are achievable. Don’t think of winning the lottery.  It is a delusional notion that you can win the lottery.

For the next 30 to 90 days, set 1-2 goals. You will feel more inspired to work towards your larger goals if you achieve the smaller ones, one at a time.

6. Schedule some downtime

You might find yourself constantly exhausted if you don’t get enough rest.

It is impossible to be constantly ‘on’. We have lost the ability to relax because of the situation in the world right now. 

You can start to take 10 minutes a day to walk, read, or rest your eyes.

There’s no need to scroll through social media or check out Amazon’s latest offers.

It will surprise you how rejuvenated you feel after just 10 minutes without distractions.

7. Find a way that you can move your body more

Moving more is a great way to increase your energy. Exercise is great for your body and health, as we all know.

It is like an anti-aging treatment that’s completely free.

It can have a greater impact on your mood than you might realize. It doesn’t even have to be boring, like walking on a treadmill (unless that is what you enjoy).

You can take a dance class or a rock climbing wall session. Or just go for a walk in the evening.

You’ll start to look forward to it after you have done it several times. You will start to feel tighter and more toned.

It might be difficult at the start but try to find the balance. It is also as easy as making small choices and forming habits to get organized. This can lead to a happier, calmer life. It is time to take control of your life!
